Kevin Conroy Joins Southern Tier HealthLink Board of Directors

Southern Tier HealthLink (STHL) today announced that Kevin Conroy of Lourdes Hospital is joining the STHL Board of Directors.
Mr. Conroy is the Chief Information Officer of Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital in Binghamton, NY in partnership with Ascension Health, the nations largest nonprofit healthcare provider. There his responsibilities include integrating information technology into all aspects of patient care and business endeavors. He is currently assisting the organization in the implementation of computerized physician order entry.
Mr. Conroy has over 25 years of engineering and information systems experience in healthcare, education, and the private sector. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, lectures on leading technologies in healthcare and enjoys teaching as an adjunct professor of engineering and technology. Mr. Conroy earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Norwich University and Master of Public Administration from Marist College.
Of his appointment to the Southern Tier HealthLink Board of Directors, Conroy commented, STHLs Health Information Exchange has grown impressively over the last few years and is truly a regional and statewide asset. I look forward to helping STHL plot its strategic direction and to continuing the excellent work between our organizations to make the HIE an even more valuable tool for both Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and the Southern Tier community.

Southern Tier HealthLink (sthlny.com) was established with leadership and support from UHS, Lourdes Hospital and other stakeholders in 2005. STHL is a non-profit organization designed as a partnership which brings together healthcare providers and consumers in Central New York to connect the dots with technology that will improve health care quality, access, and safety while reducing costs.
